Achilleion palace gardens
$22.00
The palace Empress Elisabeth built on a Corfu hillside in 1890, looking out over the Ionian. Italianate terraces, cypress alleys, and the wounded Achilles in bronze at the end of the long view. Closed at dusk. The gardens read quieter than the rooms; tour groups gather under the colonnade and thin out by the lower path.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
