Bald eagle on Lake Texoma
$22.00
A reservoir at the bend of the Red River, big enough to hold its own weather and to draw bald eagles down from the north every winter. The dam at Denison was finished in 1944 and pooled 89,000 acres along the Texas and Oklahoma border. From November through February the eagles work the shoreline for shad, and the Hagerman refuge runs guided viewing tours when the weather holds.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
