Claytor Lake State Park
$22.00
A 472-acre state park on the New River in southwest Virginia, wrapped around the upper end of Claytor Lake. The lake itself is roughly forty-five hundred acres, formed in 1939 when Appalachian Power closed the dam south of Radford. There is a swimming beach, a marina, and a cluster of cabins among the hardwoods on the south shore.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
