Deep Creek Lake
$22.00
Maryland's largest inland body of water, a 3,900-acre reservoir up in the Allegheny highlands of Garrett County. The lake was built in 1925 to feed a hydroelectric station on the Youghiogheny; the state took over recreation management in 2000. Cabins line the shore. Wisp ski resort sits on the ridge above. The water freezes hard most winters.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
