El Rastro flea market alley

Madrid's Sunday flea market spills down Ribera de Curtidores from the small plaza at Cascorro toward the river. The stalls open by nine and pack up around three. Old maps, brass keys, vinyl, embroidered linen, the day's first vermouth in the side streets. The crowd moves slowly because it has nowhere else to be on a Sunday morning.
