Sugar-white quartz sand on a stretch of the Florida panhandle most people drive past on the way to Destin. Behind the dune line, Western Lake, one of the rare coastal dune lakes that braid through the sand to the gulf when storms break the berm open. Pines, sea oats, no high-rises. A quiet that the rest of 30A has mostly forgotten.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
