Greenwood Lake
$22.00
Greenwood Lake runs about nine miles north to south, with its southern third in West Milford and the long northern reach across the line into Warwick. The original water was a smaller pond called Long Pond, raised by a dam in the 1760s to feed the Long Pond Ironworks. Hemlock and oak come down to the shore. Outboards run slow along the line in summer; the lake freezes hard most winters.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
