Haddonfield historic main street
$22.00
Kings Highway runs straight through Haddonfield, brick sidewalks under the sycamores, the Indian King Tavern at number 233 still set into the row. Elizabeth Haddon settled the town in 1713; the legislature met in the tavern's upper rooms in 1777 and signed New Jersey into a state there. In 1858 the first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton in North America came out of a marl pit two blocks east. The shops keep their nineteenth-century fronts.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
