Hibbing, Minnesota, in the Mesabi Iron Range. In 1914 a Swedish immigrant miner named Carl Eric Wickman bought a seven-passenger Hupmobile and ran iron miners the four miles to Alice for fifteen cents a trip. That line became Greyhound. The museum on Greyhound Boulevard holds a dozen restored coaches across the company's century, from the 1914 starter car to a 1947 Silversides and an Eisenhower-era Scenicruiser.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
