Lake Anna State Park
$22.00
A 3,000-acre park on the upper end of Lake Anna, the reservoir built in the early 1970s on the North Anna River. The shoreline runs through old Goodwin's gold-mining country and the visitor center keeps a small panning trough out back. There is a swim beach, a fishing pier, and quiet wooded loops that come down to the water through pine and hardwood. The afternoons hold a long, slow light.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
