Lake Okeechobee is the inland sea of South Florida, over 730 square miles of shallow, dark water ringed by the Herbert Hoover Dike. The fishing piers at Pahokee, Clewiston, and Okee-Tantie reach out from cane-country towns and put anglers over largemouth bass and speckled perch country. Sunrise comes up over open water, with airboats and crappie skiffs already moving in the shallows.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
