Lincoln State Park sits on land that was once part of the Lincoln family's southern Indiana farm. Sarah Lincoln Grigsby, Abraham's older sister, is buried in the Pigeon Baptist Church cemetery on the south edge of the park. The Civilian Conservation Corps built most of what visitors walk today, in the 1930s. A 58-acre lake holds the centre, with oak and hickory rising from its shore. — from the studio
