Magnolia Market silo Waco
$22.00
Two corrugated cotton-oil silos rise about a hundred feet over downtown Waco, painted the soft white that Chip and Joanna Gaines made famous from a Magnolia paint chip. The silos were built in the 1950s for the Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Mill and sat empty for decades before the Gaineses bought the block in 2014 and opened Magnolia Market the following fall. The lawn between the silos fills on weekends with families, food trucks, and people taking the same photograph their cousin took last spring. — from the studio
