The longest known cave system in the world runs under the limestone country of south-central Kentucky. Over four hundred miles of mapped passage, with more added every survey season. The air inside holds in the mid-fifties through summer and winter alike. People come up from it quieter than they went down.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
