Forty hectares of Moorish-Andalusian garden along the river in Seville, donated by the Infanta María Luisa Fernanda in 1893 and shaped for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition. Tile benches, fountains, pavilions left from the fair. Orange and palm trees, parrots in the canopy. People come for the shade, the water, and the Plaza de España next door.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
