Picasso Museum district narrow streets
$22.00
Carrer Montcada is a single medieval street where five Gothic and Renaissance palaces stand wall to wall, their courtyards now joined into the Museu Picasso. The lanes around it — Montcada, Princesa, the alleys of Sant Pere — are too narrow for cars and tall enough that the light slants in only at noon, then leaves the stone to itself.
Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
