Bridalveil drops off the sandstone cliff straight into Lake Superior — a thin white fall that the wind off the lake catches and lifts halfway up the rock in a strong west blow. It is best seen from the water, on a kayak run between Miners Castle and Mosquito Beach, when the morning sun is on the cliff and the lake is calm.
