A cast iron tower on Little Cormorant Rock, about a mile offshore from Sakonnet Point in Little Compton. Built in 1884 to mark the eastern entrance of Narragansett Bay, decommissioned in 1955, and re-lit by a local nonprofit in 1997. From the harbor on a clear evening it sits as a small dark thumb against the water.
