Sundance Square is a thirty-five-block stretch of downtown Fort Worth that the Bass family began assembling in the 1980s and named for the outlaw who once hid here. The plaza at its centre opened in 2013, all warm brick, red-sandstone fountains, and yellow canopies that throw a soft light at dusk. The Bass Performance Hall stands a block north, its two limestone angels lifting horns above the corner.

Slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, in our family studio in Knoxville, Tennessee.
