The Tampa Riverwalk runs about 2.6 miles along the east bank of the Hillsborough River, from the Tampa Heights bridges down past the convention center. Behind the path the downtown skyline stacks up in glass and pale stone, with the Rivergate Tower cylinder and the bank towers catching the late light. Across the water the silver minarets of the old Plant hotel pin the other shore.
