Tyler Rose Garden
$22.00
Fourteen acres of beds and walks west of downtown Tyler, the largest municipal rose garden in the country. About 38,000 bushes across more than 500 varieties, planted on land the city set aside in 1952 after East Texas had spent half a century shipping roses to the rest of the country. The Texas Rose Festival has come the third week of October every year since 1933. Peak bloom is mid-April to early May and again in October. Admission is free. The beds are open every day.
