A Lake Michigan state park in Berrien County, south of Sawyer and about ninety minutes from Chicago. The shoreline runs three miles, backed by a wall of dunes the wind keeps moving. Tower Hill rises about 260 feet above the water. Hang gliders launch from the crest on west-wind days; in the morning the beach belongs to the gulls.
