An Episcopal parish at the head of Wall Street in Lower Manhattan, founded by royal charter in 1697. The Gothic Revival church standing now is the third on the site, consecrated in 1846 to a design by Richard Upjohn. Its 281-foot brownstone spire was the tallest point in New York for almost half a century. Alexander Hamilton is buried in the churchyard.
